Toyota started building trucks years ago, since then the designs have been improved and advanced. Toyota currently builds several different trucks each with it's own variety of options. In fact there are currently 17 different variations of the Tacoma alone. My first Toyota was a 1985 standard cab pick-up truck with a 22r engine and a canopy over the bed of the truck. Due to a growing family, I sold it in 2002 with nearly 180K miles on it and replaced it with this NUMMI built, 2002 Toyota PreRunner Double Cab TRD, with aluminum wheels & bed liner. My plan is to some day add running boards, a canopy or Tonneau cover.
